A love letter to Ben & Luca
During my pregnancy, I found calm in acrylic painting, much like I find peace in the garden. This book began as a way to slow down and find quiet while expecting twin boys, and it soon became a love letter to them. It’s a celebration of nature and nurturing, and the joy of learning your ABCs.
Many of these pages are inspired by what grows around me season by season here in Austin, Texas. Each illustration was hand-painted, then refined in Photoshop. The lettering throughout the book was also painted and digitally developed into a fully functional typeface.

This is a beautiful and charming book. It is great for little ones to point out or find the vegetable or garden tool on the page.
"I am deeply inspired by your ability to create something of that caliber during your pregnancy."
My baby girl loves the book! She’s so excited and yells, “What comes next?” after each page.
